Pixelia is a pixel-art multiplayer world that combines city building, economy, ecology, RPG, strategy, diplomacy, and competitive mini-games into one evolving civilization. Players can start for free by creating a hero and exploring open worlds, fighting monsters, completing quests, and slowly developing their character. Premium players can create and control their own countries in persistent multiplayer worlds. They build cities, manage economies and resources, develop technology, interact diplomatically with other countries, and eventually fight wars. Premium players can invite free players to become heroes in their countries. Invited heroes progress faster and gain access to activities and opportunities unavailable in the basic free worlds. The world evolves asynchronously over weeks, progressing through different technological eras. Early gameplay focuses on exploration, RPG, cities, economy, and diplomacy.
